Mission Statement
The HCAA is a non-profit organisation whose aims are:
- To improve the professional skills and knowledge of its members and to advance their common interests;
- To provide a forum for presentations, technical updates and the exchange of ideas, and to pass on information about developments in the industry;
- To formulate guidelines aimed are helping colleagues deal with local issues;
- To establish and continue to improve accounting standards and reporting in order to meet auditors requirements and accounting regulations in the broad spectrum of Corporate Governance.
- To communicate and share experience and knowledge amongst members to improve both their professional abilities and also their personal self esteem through educational programmes via internal and external resources.
- To offer the opportunity of affiliation with other related international associations; and
- To enhance the status of professionals working in the hospitality industry in Hong Kong.
